BLS Advisory Sdn. Bhd. (“BLS”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. Prepared with reference to Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709), this notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal data provided through our website, WhatsApp conversations and consultation services.

1. Personal data we may collect

This may include your name and contact details; employment, income, debt and financial-commitment information; credit-record or application information; documents you voluntarily provide; consultation records; and basic website technical information.

2. Why we process it

We use relevant information to respond to enquiries, provide an initial consultation, understand and assess your circumstances, discuss possible service directions, manage appointments and records, comply with legal obligations, and protect our services from misuse.

3. Consent and choice

By voluntarily providing information, you acknowledge its processing for the purposes described here. You may choose not to provide requested information, although this may limit our ability to assess your situation. Please do not send unnecessary identity documents or sensitive financial records before a consultant explains what is required.

4. Disclosure and external services

We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary with authorised staff, professional service providers supporting our operations, relevant institutions when you request or authorise it, or authorities where required by law. WhatsApp is operated by a third party and its own privacy terms apply when you use it.

5. Security, retention and accuracy

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal data. We retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purposes, legal obligations and legitimate record-keeping, then securely delete or anonymise it. Please inform us if your information changes.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your personal data, ask questions about its use, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy complaint. Some requests may be subject to legal exceptions or reasonable verification.
